The Game Data Editor (GDI++).dll file is one of the most important files found on the computer. This file is used by many different applications that you use every day to run. The most common of these applications is the Windows operating system. When a program needs to load this particular DLL, it has to load it from a location that is associated with the application that needs it. This is generally located in the C:\Windows directory and will have to be loaded in a specific way.
If you open up a program, such as Windows Movie Maker or Photo Gallery, you will find a shortcut icon at the bottom right of the screen. This icon will take you to the settings for that particular program. The settings are where you can change how the DLL will be loaded when it is needed. Unfortunately, if you delete this shortcut or the program will no longer run properly.
You can also go to the control panel and manually change where the GDI++.dll file is located, however this requires you to know what DLL is associated with the particular program you are trying to change. The last resort is to use a utility to disable the DLL. This is generally only possible if you have the registry editor installed on your PC. The registry editor is used to identify any errors on your system and will enable you to edit any of the settings in the registry that are no longer required.
